Donegal, a village on the Irish coast. The town's population is getting smaller and smaller and the men feel increasingly lonely and realize that their chances of getting married are scarce. In fact, the few women left aren't all that great, and efforts to invite beauty queens from across the ocean to their yearly town festival have been a failure. Kieran O'Donnagh, a young, rather arrogant bachelor, is the head of a group of friends looking for love. While they wait to find the woman of their dreams, the men of Donegal try to better their appearance in order to be more attractive.
