Images which illustrate a city which according to Brazilian utopia was supposed to incarnate a model of urbanistic perfection reflecting itself also on the citizens' way of life. The spaces, the forms, the patterns of the water, Oscar Niemeyer and Lucio Costa have transferred the symbolism of the blueprints into reality.
