Behind the closed doors of a locker room, rugbymen execute the last rituals before a game. Bodies are rubbed with baum and a peptalk warms up spirits, entirely tensed in anticipation of combat.

Jean-Louis Gonnet
Jean-Louis Gonnet (Oullins, Rhones, 1956) studied at the Photographic Institute of Geneva and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Orléans in 1981. He began his career in cinema as an assistant director for documentaries and fiction films, moving on to directing in 1982 with an experimental short, Filming Muybridge, which won the critics' prize at the festival in Hyéres. He has made numerous documentaries and fiction short films and has worked frequently on commission, making many television and industrial documentaries. Comme Un Seul Homme has been presented at more than ten international festivals.
