Objects take on a life of their own. A film set is ready in the middle of a large film studio. The filming has begun, but without warning the machines start to reveal that they are intelligent in themselves. They express their wish to rebel against people, following a science fiction plot.

Carlo Ausino
Carlo Ausino (Turin, 1938) has worked with Trentin and Monicelli. After that he began a long collaboration with Rai as cameraperson. In 1969 he shot his first short film, The Hour of Pity, which concerns the resistance. This film marked the beginning of a long working relationship with the actor Emanule Cannarsa and the cameraperson, Giuseppe Lino. Even at this date Ausino is the director who has shot more films in Turin than anyone else.
