Country: Italy
Year: 2002
Duration: 10'

A man enters an abandoned building alone. He is wearing a long, leather jacket, under which he has a holster and a pistol. He is a futuristic gunman. He waits, motionless, and then he is distracted by an object. He straightens it. A second object distracts him, he straightens it, too. Now he is ready for his final challenge. He quickly extracts his pistol and shoots at the first object: the bullet then ricochets off the second object and then off the walls of the building until it hits him full in the chest. He was the last gunman and his last possible duel was with himself. He has won again.

"
The Last Gunman explores a genre, westerns, that for various reasons have been shunned by short films. It is both an homage and an ironical end to the «cycle» since the main character was, in fact, «the last gunman»" (A. Dominici).
