Gabriela is a dynamic middle-class woman; thirty-something; married and separated from her husband, who is an architect and set-designer; with two children, 19 and 17 years old. She has an enigmatic and charming Japanese lover and is the owner of an established gallery of contemporary art. She has been receiving mysterious messages for just over a year now, with capricious but constant regularity. Gabriela finds herself taken with this enigma. She recognizes her "persecutor" at a costume party. The enigma at first seems to be resolved, but it is actually becoming deeper…

Francesco Brocani
Francesco Brocani was born in Murazzano, in the Langhe, and graduated with a law degree from the University of Turin and also has a diploma in directing from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, where he has lived and worked since 1962. Along with Carmelo Bene, Mario Schifano and Alberto Grifi, he was one of the main exponents of the Italian avant-garde movement during the Sixties and Seventies. He acted in Schifano's film Trapianto, Consunzione e Morte di Franco Brocani (1969) and collaborated on the other works of the painter-filmmaker, Satellite (1967) and Umano, Non Umano (1968).
