Road Movie a Joint Effort is a physical trip through the United States that articulates the psychological and emotional trip of a couple.

"These images were filmed during eight years' worth of trips in the States. It starts off in New York, crosses Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona and ends up in California, with a parting shot of Big Sur on the road to San Francisco. What interested us and kept us going was our effort to try to understand just what constitutes the essence of a road movie" (J. Lovett, A. Codagnone).
