Shinji Aoyama
Aoyama Shinji (Fukuoka, 1964) got his start in the world of cinema at an early age, right after graduating from university. He later worked as assistant director for Kurosawa Kiyoshi, Fridrik Thor Fridriksson and Daniel Schmid. He has made twelve full-length films which have been presented at major international festivals, gaining critical success and winning prestigious prizes in Cannes and Singapore. Almost all his works have been presented in various sections at the Torino Film Festival.
