1978. Aldo Chimenti and his wife Marisa move to Turin from a small town in the province of Bari. Marisa joins the police force, inspired by Mark, the lead character in many police movies at the time. Aldo, a fervent Catholic, spends his time working as an accountant and singing in the rock chorus of the parish, which is lead by the hippie priest Don Luigi. Aldo's life is radically changed when he meets Biagio and Caimano. Biagio is a hard-boiled sinner, an ex-communist and loafer. Caimano is naÔve, and lives with his head in the clouds. The three men discover they have a dream in common: to make money. They end up being involved in an investigation into betting on soccer games…

Dario Migliardi
Dario Migliardi (Acqui Terme, Alessandria, 1963) studied arts at the University of Turin. He has produced and directed numerous documentaries. In 1997 his short film La Lettera won Italy Space at the Festival Cinema Giovani di Torino and the Nastro d'Argento. This short film also participated at many other international festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand, Portland, Uppsala, Tampere, and Nice of New York, winning prizes and recognitions.
