Roman Polanski made The Fearless Vampire Killers in 1966-67. Part of the filming was done on location in the Siusi Alps in the northern Italian region of Alto Adige. The documentary reminds the impact that filming had on the tiny village. A behind the scenes look and interviews with locals that participated as extras and drivers.

Mathias Höglinger

Matthias Höglinger was born in Bolzano in 1976. In 1997 he earned his degree in visual arts at Ortisei Art School. He worked as a filmprojectionist and as a sound- and camera-assistant. From 1998 to 2001 he attended the Zelig school for documentary, television and new media, in Bolzano. During this time he was involved in projects for promo-spots, short films, journalistic reports and his dissertation film.
