Variazioni Keaton 2: Daydreams

Variations Keaton 2: Daydreams

Country: Italy
Year: 2002
Duration: 25'

This is a comparison between two different versions of two reels from Buster Keaton films. The directors have begun their analysis with Hard Luck (1921) and Day Dreams (1922). These films exist in versions that have recently been restored but are still incomplete. It is precisely because they are incomplete ñ each film in a different way ó that they have been prompted to compare the different versions. The French and the American restorations appear side by side on a split screen.
