Four directors from Turin - Carlo Ausino, Mimmo Calopresti, Alberto Signetto, Umberto Spinazzola - tell their stories. In some parts, their stories intertwine and the memories - thanks also to the testimonies of friends - become a collective evocation of childhood, youth, love for cinema, way of understanding life. A chance to know those "couple of things" about four people who, by sheer coincidence, do the same job.

Pit Formento
Pit Formento has graduated in Film History in Parma. He's been making documentaries since 1983 and his works have been distributed in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Spain and USA. He has won the First Prize at Festival del Documentario in San Benedetto del Tronto in 1988. Outside the documentary world, he has won the Solinas Award for Best Script in 1996 and, with a commercial, the AD Spot Award in 1997.
