Home Stories uses found material, editing scenes of Hollywood-melodramas so that - because of the repetition - the cinema-goddesses on the screen obtain the appearence of a stereo-type classical victim. The beauties are looking at some kind of threat that is placed outside the image, but the only thing that returns to them is the perspective of the spetactor. Müller's heroine have many destinies but only one role. They present the observed in a scope where looks can kill. Müller analyses the mechanism of voyeurism and he uses the history of film as a basis for its own game.
