The relationship between a boy and his warder: loneliness, unspoken
conflicts, silence. Suddenly the boy gets sick: the man accompanies him
until death, rejoining, in one gesture, with him and the earth.
"With this work we have concentrated our efforts more on the formal
aspect than the narrative one: we tried almost completely to eliminate
the dialogues and to lighten up the dramatic needs. Narration proceeds
through a series of emotions caused by images, sounds, music" (M. De

Antonio Di Trapani
Antonio Di Trapani (Partitico, Palermo, 1980) has graduated at DAMS in Rome Tre university in 2003. With his short films Io (winner of the prize Cinema at the Festival della Cultura in Partitico in 2000) and Morte dell'eroe in due tempi, he participates to several festivals. These works, together with La Rosa, have been broadcast on RAI Tre in Fuori Orario. The short film Lampàra is from 2002 and has been presented out of competition at Costalblea Film Festival in Scicli.

Marco De Angelis
Marco De Angelis (Rome, 1970) follows a course on approaching the image given by director Silvano Agosti. With the short films Senza titolo and Pilgrims he participates at the 2000 and 2001 editions of the Festival "Anteprima" in Bellaria. Senza titolo is broadcast on RAI Tre Fuori Orario. He participates as director of photography at the video Astrolite, chosen at the Turin Film Festival in 2002. The documentary Estate was chosen at Festival di Pesaro in 2003.
