This autobiographical documentary combines video art and "film diary"
techniques. It tells the story of Gina who, at 22 years of age, leaves
Korea to flee from the authority of her mother and a terrible destiny
which would force her, too, to become an overweight housewife. Gina is
so traumatized by this possibility that she starts becoming anorexic.
Desperate, she goes to the United States, where her dreams soon crumble.
For six years, she obsessively documents her life: through narcissistic
communications she reveals her gradual decline - until she is
hospitalized - and her passage from post-adolescent fears to a more
adult acceptance of herself, her body, her mother.
