Mar de diamante

A couple, Raul and Elena, and their friend Guille sail to an island. As the relationship between Raul and Elena deteriorates, someone seems to be waiting for them on the island's beach.

"After a sailboat trip with friends, in a period we were listening the song The Diamond Sea by Sonic Youth a lot, I had an idea: we could use that song for any short film we decided to make. Then one day I saw someone dive off a boat and swim away. What was he escaping from? [...] At the time I was in a relationship with a girl I didn't love, but I didn't have the courage to leave her and was hoping she would fall in love with someone else. [...] These feelings, combined with the fact we had a sailboat at our disposal, plus the Sonic Youth song, all come together to form the short film" (A. Nogueroles Gonzáles).
