filming of Russian Ark, plus interviews of members of the crew and the director
of the Hermitage museum, which is where the film takes place. At the end,
Sokurov talks about the initial idea, of his intentions ("To make a film in one
single breath… a film about the life of architecture, its space") and about
Russian culture encountering Western European culture.

Michail Bukojemski
Michal Bukojemski is a journalist, screenwriter, cameraman and director of documentaries. He has worked at the Warsaw Documentary Productions and makes television programs from Russia for America's ABC News Company. He has been an independent producer since 1996. He has worked as a cameraman on over one hundred films, and has directed two series of documentaries and six films for Polish TV. The One Take Movie participated at the Festival of Nyon in 2002.
