Sokurov i drugie

This is a two-part film. Sokurovi drugie (Sokurov and the Others) makes use of nine interviews with Russian intellectuals. It studies the role of the director's personality and the meaning of his work in contemporary culture. Master I ego modeli (The Master and the Model) is an attempt to pinpoint Sokurov's creative process: conversations with various starring actors he frequently uses in his films are interspersed with behind-the-scene clips from the making of his films Krug vtoroj, Mat' i syn, Moloch, Telec and Russkij kovcheg.
