Paola Romagnani

Paola Romagnani was born in Milan in 1969. She graduated in Literature and Languages at UILM University of Milan. In 1996 she moved to New York, where she still lives and works, to study acting and filmmaking. She acted in a few short films and in the feature film Letters from the Dead by Ari Taub. In 2002 she wrote a book on filmmaker Jim Jarmush entitled Jim Jarmush: una storia indipendente, published in Italy by Cinetecnica. She collaborates as a free-lance film-writer with "Oggi 7", weekly magazine published in New York. After acting in a few experimental shorts shot, she wrote, directed and acted in her first short film entitled The Soul Mate. Now, she is writing her first feature screenplay.
