21° TORINO FILM FESTIVAL
Stavros Tornes, Greek and Italian Filmmaker

Stavros Tornes attore senza finzione (antologia)

Stavros Tornes Actor Without Fiction
by Sergio Grmek Germani
Country: Italy
Year: 2003
Duration: 30

An editing realized as a complement to this retrospective, made by Sergio Grmek Germani together with the editorial staff of Fuori Orario. We want to follow the presence of Tornes until his smallest roles in Greek and Italian films. A presence that often reveals the nature of a film and is symptomatic of a disorientation in the productive functioning. Besides his appearances with Rossellini, Monicelli, Rosi... we wanted to document his presence behind other bodies, his Greek castings for Kazan and Cacoyannis.
