This is a film about the daily struggle for survival in the work world: in the strawberry fields, in the factories, in offices, in the car, on the streets. The main characters are a woman - a strawberry picker, who arrives in Austria to create a better future for herself and her daughter - and a man, a real estate agent from Vienna. The hope to give meaning to their life is born.

"The story takes place on the Eastern border of the European Union. A border between well-being and poverty, between two socio-economic systems in a globalized world, in which the neo-liberalist market rules are brutally explained and applied to the workers" (R. Mader).
