This time, the protagonists visit the entire space of Pamphili Collection. A sudden shower causes a temporary suspension of electricity during Emmer's visit. Vittorio Sgarbi, who encouraged the setting up of the collection, takes the director into the dark suites of the exhibition hall. In the darkness, there's only the luminous eye of the torch that keeps accompanying us around, following the two men, bringing us to the discovery of carved and painted sculptures that are materialising in this night reverie. A relentlessly wide open eye makes us (over)see, makes us catch a full sight.

Elisabetta Sgarbi
(Ferrara, Italy) is the creator and director of the publishing house La nave di Teseo. She created and for nineteen years has been the artistic director of the festival La Milanesiana, dedicated to literature, music, cinema, science, art, philosophy, and theatre. Since 1999 she has been the director and producer of her films, which were often presented at the Torino Film Festival.
