With one long shot the camera presents the surrounding of a suburbian colony of single family houses. A clean ideal place, but deserted and with a ghostly atmosphere. Only at the end of the film there is a sign of human presence: a message is left on an answering machine. An insurance agent talks about the possibilities of life-insurance, the pension scheme and his lost ball-pen.

Corinna Schnitt
Corinna Schnitt (Duisburg, Germany ,1964) studied at Academy of Design, Offenbach, and at the Academy of Fine Arts, Düsseldorf. She lives and works in Cologne, Germany, as a fotographer, an experimental director and a video artisti. Her works are internationally shown in film festivals and installation, and deal with the recontextualization of everyday situations in a delicate balance between fact and fiction.
