Mohammad Shirvani
Mohammad Shirvani (Teheran, 1973) studied painting at university. In 1999, he chose directing over a military career, making his first short film. After various run-ins with the police, he continued making short films and, in 2004, made Nahf, his first feature length film, which debuted at the Rotterdam Film Festival.
