Angelino, the fishmonger, comes back with other sailors after another disappointing day of work But he doesn't know that a wonderful diving trip is waiting for him: magically, Angelino watches the musical 'O Guarracino, an old 17th century Neapolitan song, where the leading role, a fish in the sea of Naples, with the help of Vavosa, gets the attention of Sardella, who is already engaged to the Alletterato.

"The idea of showing all creatures of the sea and the possibility to make them human has been an important reflection on the relationship between reality and fiction, on the endless chances offered by imagination where one tries coincidences and juxtapositions. This is the reason why in my work one can find several references to music and icon situations, defining a hypothetical journey from the beginning of 17th century until 1900, where different periods get juxtaposed without cancelling out one another."
