Inside an old
trunk, Pietro Crespi, among his recently deceased mother's souvenirs,
discovers a file, turned yellow, with the name "Margherita" written on
top. Inside the file he finds a medical report saying that he had a
sister who had been locked up in a mental hospital since she was a
little girl. "In 1996 the mental hospital in Racconigi has been shut
down. Inside the walls, dust and silence take over its stories." (L.
