In the ancient kingdom of Huadu, which is ruled by a cruel empress, the men have been subjugated by the women. But a prophecy has announced the coming of a young man who will become king and put the men back in power. Char, the young man named by the prophecy, sets off with his step-brother, Leaf, on a treasure hunt, following the indications of a mysterious map that is inscribed in stone. Two beautiful and lethal female warriors, Blue and Spring, accompany them on their search.

Cory Yuen

Cory Yuen was a Chinese Opera School classmate of Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung. Like them, he started working as a stuntman, action choreographer and, finally, as a Director with Long zhi ren zhe. In the US, he provided the action scenes for Lethal Weapon 4, Romeo Must Die and The One. In Europe, he directed the international hit The Transporter, produced by Luc Besson.

Patrick Leung

Patrick Leung (1959) graduated in journalism and communications from Hong Kong Baptist University in 1982. While still a student, he supervised the Screenplay of the film by John Woo To Hell With the Devil. After a brief stint in advertising, he returned to cinema as assistant Director for Woo, Ann Hui, Stephen Shin, Benny Chan, Johnnie To and Teddy Chen. He also co-wrote the Screenplay of Die xue jie tou (Bullet in the Head, 1990) by John Woo.
