A diary. Or a sketch book. Some sort of video-case in which a lot of things have heaped up in years: friends, cartoons, travels, relatives, paintings, houses, pets, extracts from stories without an ending, different languages, places, three-dimensional models, graphic marks, sententious words, everyday acts, scribbles of various kind. A piece of a lifetime, one of the many, which can only be told through a most sparkling caos.
"Cantus wasn't absolutely planned or thaught before it was made. I think it came out of my natural need to talk, at any cost, whatever. It started from a casual single image - a little white dog gnawing at a bone - and then the short film gradually took its shape, in a very spontaneus and rapid way. Its contents are stratified and multiplied materials, its shape is a logorrhea, a rambling and agitated speech, that feeded on significant episodes of the diary of my life." (C. Cagnasso)
