Lukas lives in a rest home not far from the railway, and he is under medical treatment for Alzheimer's disease. Trains pass by and mark his days, as his memories flow in his mind.
"Lukas is trying to remember some past events that occurred during the war. In his thoughts, and also in his everyday life , he is often followed by a woman, a clear but fleeting figure, at the same time. Just like past and present. I made this film at the end of a research at the DasArts institute in Amsterdam. It was a research work which started from war memories and then included studies on memory affecting disease." (A.N. Savino)
