This film is dedicated to Rachel Corrie, a pacifist killed in the Palestine, and it's like a "stabat", the moment when the soul is rising up to heaven. Following the metaphor belonging to the Christian corpus, two angels come down on the earth and reach a symbolic place for mankind - the Khazneh of Petra in Jordan - where they will find the rose, the beauty and the purity of purpose. Then they will sacrifice themselves and pursue their destiny. They will be turned into statues while their immortal souls will be doomed to wander in a windswept land of sand and desolation, until their sacrifice will set their souls free.
