Anne and Gilles, 11 and 15 years old, are on vacation with their mother in their house in the mountains. The mother needs milk to prepare some food and sends Gilles to Mme. Roux, the farmer’s wife who lives next door, to get her a liter. But she is having an affair with Mme Roux’s husband and poor Gilles is afraid of the betrayed woman’s anger…

Luc Moullet (Paris, 1937), critic, essayist, actor and producer, he works also as a director until 1960, and he has realized more than 25 films, including shorts, features, documentaries and autobiographical works. His films are carachterized by a hyper-objective look, which often creats pure comic effects.
