Ursula Ferrara

Ursula Ferrara graduated at the Art Institute in Florence. In 1984 she realizes her first animated film, Lucidi folli, followed by Congiuntivo futuro (1988), Amore asimmetrico (1990) and Come persone (1995), all drawned in black and white. Quasi niente (1997) is her first color film, followed by Cinque stanze (1999) and La partita (2002), screened in Turin in 2002 and winner of the Kodak Award for the Best Italian Short Film. All her movies partecipated, among the others, to the festival of Annecy, Tampere, Cannes, Espinho, Turin, Zagabria, Cardiff, São Paulo, Toronto, London, Edimburgh, Roma-Sacher and Berlin.
