Marialuisa looks around, bewildered, and yet the places are familiar to her, every corner has a memory. She has driven down these streets so many times with her husband. But now, her son Cristiano is driving the car, he’ll be leaving to go back to Paris soon, and Marialuisa can’t find the way. “This is a very autobiographical film that is based on a true story. It’s an attempt to describe the complex relationship between the lead figures, who are forced by circumstances to confront the idea of absence. It is, above all, explicitly dedicated through its images to my mother.”

(Milan, Italy, 1977) lives and works in Paris, where he teaches film directing at the Ecole International de Création Audiovisuelle et de Réalisation (EICAR).
