Small-time Mafioso Charlie Adamo helps the famous gangster Hank McCain escape from prison in order to become his accomplice when he holds up the Royal Casino in Las Vegas. The evening before the holdup, Adamo discovers that the casino is run by the Mafia, but he isn’t able to warn McCain in time. McCain, with the help of his wife Britt and a Thompson automatic machinegun, pulls off the heist and sparks the gangsters’ vendetta.
