Requiem

Requiem
by Sun Xun
Country: China
Year: 2007
Duration: 7'

“History suspended between truth and other subjective stories is like a repetitive requiem performed for the benefit of shared memories. I have always been fascinated more by the imaginary that stands behind the stories than in the way they come to life. I simply want to know what is make-believe and what is real in the past I imagine. I see no difference, but I am increasingly fascinated by it: what is it that fascinates me so much?”
