Sopa de pescado

Fish Soup

Country: Angola
Year: 2007
Duration: 7'

A bird unintentionally enters a family’s house during dinner time, upsetting its peaceful existence. The bird’s entrance highlights the character of each one of the family members and the relations between them.

“I wanted to film this story to show that an unlikely event (like a bird’s entrance through a wall) can be considered like a realistic fact. I like thinking that an absurd external danger could challenge the members of a family.”
