Gaska is traveling. She suddenly wakes up on an airplane, she is drunk “69bites isn’t a documentary about pornography nor is it fiction.
and doesn’t remember where she’s heading. She misses her connecting
flight and is stuck for a few days in Barcelona, where she contacts
a couple of friends for a place to stay and becomes involved in a porn
film. Gaska finds herself increasingly at home in her surroundings,
until the moment for performing in her first sex scene arrives.
It is manipulation. It’s a game of various languages, bodies and words.
Through the eyes of our protagonist, Gaska, we get to go backstage
on a porn film and sometimes we lose track of what is real and what
is fake.”

Marianna Schivardi
Marianna Schivardi (Chiari, Brescia, Italy, 1972) graduated in 1996 in contemporary history. In 1997 she took a course in screenwriting at the Scuola Civica di Cinema e Televisione in Milan. Between 2003 and 2005 she worked as assistant director for various Italian TV channels, including RAI and the Disney Channel. In 2004 she shot the
docufiction Il grande fardello.
