in a town in Yorkshire a pig, Betty, is raised
illegally to celebrate the royal wedding
of Elizabeth and Philip with a banquet.
But one day Betty disappears, stolen by
a couple of mild-mannered newcomers.
A vitriolic portrait of British myths and
rituals written by Alex Bennett, interpreted
by Monty Python’s Michael Palin and
by Maggie Smith.
