BURNING AN ILLUSION

In the suburbs of London, Pat, a black
secretary, meets Del, who moves in with
her. Del’s traditional male chauvinism is
exacerbated by the problems of the black
community. It is the story of a woman’s
growing awareness that develops from
personal to political, directed by a black
director and underlined by the growing
tension and anger of a marginalized
ethnic group.
