Thomas Ciulei
Thomas Ciulei (Bucarest, Romania, 1965) moved to New York in 1979 where he studied photography at the School of Arts. In 1990 he studied documentary cinema at the Munich Film School and in 1992 he receiveid his degree in cinematography at the New York City University. His documentary Asta E premiered at the 2001 Berlinale and was awarded by the Amsterdam IBC, at the Festival dei Popoli in Florence and at Les Écrans Documentaires in Paris.
