Andy, a small-time gambler, owes money to a mob. But his time
is up, and hired hitman Reuben tells him so. Andy has one hour before
Reuban will take him out with a pistol shot. For his precious last hour,
Reuben agrees to escort Andy on a real time grand tour of his last
wishes.

“I fell in love with the real time concept, seeing the actual seconds tick
off in front of us. With this spirit, I told to myself I would try to write
the whole script in reale time, in one fast sitting. My two-month-old
son was taking a nap. I thought it would be nice to have a new script
before he woke up. I kind of knew it was unrealistic but it actually
worked for about twenty minutes – then I got kind of dizzy.”
