Year: 2008
Duration: 71'

Luca, nearing his fifties, decides to get back into rugby, an old passion
of his, by training with a team by the name of the All Reds. The sport
is one of the many athletic activities offered by Acrobax, a squat created
within the occupied facilities of the old Cinodromo of Rome.
The experience brings him to face two tragedies: the deaths of two
young Acrobax boys. Antonio, killed because of an accident at work,
and Renato, who according to the courts was killed during a trivial
argument but in the opinion of family and witnesses was assassinated
during an aggressive and premeditated political act.

“When we saw the first cuts of the film, on the screen flowed images
that were sometimes intimate, always problematic, but also
entertaining and lively, of a group of boys struggling against housing
and working problems and with the ups and downs of their newborn
rugby team: a never before seen story outside any previously
experienced schematic. Then... an abrupt detour, the exposition of
Antonio’s death and Renato’s assassination... ferocious and dramatic
events that force us to reflect and wonder even after the film is over.”
