ELECTRIC FRAGMENTS N. 6 - DIARIO 1989.
DANCING IN THE DARK
6o days before the Event/the trajectory

as it take place is already in the past

– a past that has been betrayed, thrown away –

unrealized

In the midst of the Italian countryside

A surreal vision

mosquitoes, grasshoppers, sausage smoke

And smoke on the stage, proletarian food

Carnality, vitality (or vital), rhythm

But already a shadow theater, too

Eclipse – Real and unreal

A primitive, savage world

Almost

In which other

Cultures

Insert themselves

Like a card castle

It will fall in a complex situation

In a complex catastrophe

Imponderable

The present disorientation

Of a local culture

With deep roots.

Che Guevara – improbable dancers

Flash dance – counter mazurka and

Even more improbable dancers

In an exotic Latin American style,

suburban American

Far from the rhythms of tangos, of waltzes

We are in

An awkward suburban Nashville

Going up in smoke

Imitative fake imposed

Far from the initial genuineness

Their not having any doubts

Unconditional devotion to the Cause

Soon to suffer

a cut a derailing
