altitude University will soon begin and Sara will have to leave the town where she was born and go to the East Coast. She has recently gotten her pilot’s license and decides to say goodbye to her childhood friends and her ex-boyfriend Bruce in style by renting a twin-engine plane to go take the all to a concert. But the trip takes an unexpected turn when Sara loses control of the plane because of a strange mechanical failure. The turbulence causes her to lose radio contact and the young people find themselves facing their anxieties and most hidden fears and discover how the survival instinct brutally prevails over friendship. Not even an emergency landing improves the situation of the passengers, who are in the power of an evil, supernatural force that comes to life from the pages of Bruce’s comic book. “The story brings back memories of old-school Twilight Zone episodes. I like the idea of putting people into a supernatural pressure cooker and watching their personalities boil over. I thought I was taking a break from comics to direct a movie, but really I was just directing a movie and drawing more comics.”
