Oh Seong Cheul is out on parole; he wants to be a different man but the tracker on his ankle reminds him that this is not the case. He struggles with his inner demons by living a harsh life as a manual laborer and continually goes to see his psychiatrist. Kim Hyeong Do is a broken man. He is a family man who is burdened with the experience of a parents’ worst nightmare. He goes through the motions of life, consumed by the desire for revenge. When he sees Oh Seong Cheul by chance one day he becomes obsessed with the idea of stopping him.

Kyu-hwan Jeon

Jeon Kyu-hwan (South Korea, 1965) debuted with Mozart Town (2008), the first chapter of a trilogy dedicated to the city, urban landscape and metropolitan humanity. Animal Town is the second film of the series and has been presented at numerous international festivals, including the one in San Sebastian. He is now working on the final chapter of his project, Dance Town (2010) and is also preparing his fourth feature film, The Weight.
