BLIND, NOT BLIND

BLIND, NOT BLIND
by Giorgio Risso
Country: Italy
Year: 2010
Duration: 9'

blind, not blind

A fragment of a trip, destination unknown. Through the window of a train, the darkness of the tunnels is shattered by splinters of light in various forms, which alternate with glimpses of a disturbing landscape: black, snow-capped mountains sloping down into dark, icy water.

“I captured unusual images during a trip in Norway. I knew that these images would have led me on a parallel journey of reflections, toward an unknown destination that is open to various interpretations. The lack of postproduction and the uncut shots strengthen the mood of the film.”
