Duration: 15'

The Villar Pellice factory carries on the tradition of producing felt, which was begun in 1904 by the company Crumière. “Lucignolo” is the term that sector insiders use to indicate the cotton or wool thread that has the consistency of spun sugar. It can snap at the first strain if it isn’t prepared by expert hands and machines that make it strong and suitable for weaving. This name also reflects the work ethics and the knowledge of the procedures that are needed to transform an immature material into something useful and productive.
