little snow animal A hybrid composed of archival images, animation and fiction becomes a visionary answer to a few existential questions. A girl is alone at home, she stares at the objects around her and then at nothing; she smokes, goes out, goes to a disco but doesn’t dance, walks in the snow, crouches down beneath the shower, hangs out the laundry to dry in the wintery cold. In the meantime, in black and white, the voice of a girl who has a problem with sex and love phones in to a radio program in search of comfort and help. “Little Snow Animal came to this world inspired by young girls, 13-year-olds, posing in the internet in some kind of half nude self portraits. Why do they do this? Why do we do this? Why do we give ourselves to be taken advantage in the desperate search for love? This film is a little poem about that search.”
