Adriano Aprà
Adriano Aprà (Rome, Italy, 1940) founded the quarterly publication “Cinema & Film” in 1966 and of which he was the director until 1970. During that period he also played the main character in Othon (1969) by Danièle Huillet and Jean-Marie Straub. Between 1971 and 1976 he co-directed Filmstudio 7 in Rome and later become director of the festivals in Salsomagiore (1977-1989) and Pesaro (1990-1998), and finally director of the National Cinematheque in Rome (1998-2002). From 2002 to 2007 he taught cinema in the Tor Vergata University of Rome.
