Renato Bertazzi is a manufacturer with serious money problems. As he waits for a phone call that could solve his debt dilemma, his wife Valeria plagues him with her obsession for the comic book whose main character, Sadik, kills unpunished criminals. To give some spark to their monotonous married life, the woman forces him to dress up like the comic book hero, until the game takes a serious turn. “After years of experimentation, Italian anthology films have become more sophisticated, they have eliminated the residues of ostentatious vulgarity and have gained dignity as a performance art. This is the case of Thrilling which, as the title suggests, brings together three comic episodes with a ‘thriller’ backdrop.” Proiezione in collaborazione con la Fondazione Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia - Cineteca Nazionale
